Our firm was established in 1992 when George Kouzalis, a Cypriot trained Authorised Accountant began his own practice in Nicosia, Cyprus. The firm gradually grew and in 2014 Charalambos Kouzalis, FCA, a UK trained Chartered Accountant joined his brother George in the firm which has been renamed as Kouzalis& Co Ltd, Chartered Accountants.

Currently Kouzalis & Co Ltd, Chartered Accountants, operates from its offices in the centre of Nicosia, providing a wide range of professional services to its local and international clients.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London in 1981, Charalambos returned to Cyprus and worked as an audit manager with the international firms Touche Ross and Deloitte Huskins & Sells. He then moved into the banking industry with an international bank operating in Cyprus where he served in the regional Area Office in a number of Departments. Charalambos served as a Director on the Board of JCC, a firm established by the commercial banks of Cyprus for the purpose of administering the processing and settlement of card transactions. He also served on the Board of the Cyprus Bankers Employers Association as a Treasurer and as Deputy Chairman.

Charalambos moved back to the accounting profession in 2008 and established his own firm GlobalAudit KK Ltd which he manages in addition to his work at Kouzalis & Co Ltd. He is particularly concentrated in the field of auditing, international taxation, tax planning and business consultancy.

George Kouzalis entered the accounting profession after school and worked for a number of years with Yiamakis & Co, Chartered Accountants in Nicosia, Cyprus. In 1992 he obtained the approval of the Minister of finance to practice accountancy and sign financial statements for tax purposes and established his firm G Kouzalis Audit Advise Ltd, which in April 2014, with the admission to partnership of George’s elder brother Charalambos Kouzalis, FCA changed its name to Kouzalis & Co Ltd, Chartered Accountants

Currently George is managing the affairs of Kouzalis & Co Ltd and is particularly concentrated in accounting, VAT and taxation issues.
